Guide to care of grain leather products
We recommend the following care:
Natural untreated full-grain bovine leather we use is susceptible to sweat stains, spills and dirt. It is either very difficult or impossible to remove the stains, but precisely these stains and "flaws" are considered to be signs of authenticity.
If you appreciate the natural patina of the full-grain leather, follow the furniture dealers' general advice on minimal care or clean it with a soft, dry cloth and avoid getting it wet. If it does get wet, blot with a clean, absorbent cloth and let air dry.
If you want the leather to have a longer lifespan and fewer stains and you do not mind it being slightly darker, you can use leather fat or leather oil, which also nourish and impregnate it (used especially for outdoor use).
The dyed grain leather products should be impregnated before use.
